Lisa M. Hammel focuses on the representation of municipal and private clients in cases involving contract disputes, construction defects, condemnation, land use and real estate issues.
Ms. Hammel brings interdisciplinary skills to the practice, with degrees in law and engineering. She has experience in industrial and automotive manufacturing, and was an officer in a residential construction company for more than 10 years.
Ms. Hammel serves as an arbitrator for both King and Snohomish counties' mandatory arbitration programs administered under the jurisdiction of the respective Superior Court systems, and as a Hearing Officer for Attorney Discipline hearings.
She is also a volunteer attorney with Eastside Legal Assistance, helping low-income clients with criminal and civil matters including domestic violence, consumer and landlord/tenant issues, wills, and contracts.
