ILLIAMS & WILLIAMS IS JOINED BY JOSEPH MARSHALL, ESQ.
Williams & Williams is pleased to announce attorney Joseph Marshall has joined the firm. Mr. Marshall grew up in Kenmore, where he graduated from Inglemoor High School in 1987. He attended the University of Washington, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 1995, before going on to receive a Master of Fine Arts degree at Cornell University. He graduated from the University of Washington Law School in 1999. He is also a graduate of the National Criminal Defense College, Macon, Georgia.

Mr. Marshall has previously worked as a criminal defense attorney, successfully representing clients in both jury and bench trials. He was also been instrumental in assisting Williams & Williams in securing settlements exceeding the class action average in several food poisoning cases.

Mr. Marshall will concentrate on general litigation.


RICHARD PIERSON, ESQ. NOW OF COUNSEL TO WILLIAMS & WILLIAMS

Attorney Richard Pierson, who is of counsel to Williams & Williams PSC, celebrates his one year anniversary with the firm. One of the most respected and experienced trial attorneys in the Pacific Northwest, Mr. Pierson’s career spans five decades.

Since 1965, his practice has been focused on the representation of property owners in real estate condemnation disputes. He performs selective work on behalf of condemning government agencies. Mr. Pierson also serves as an arbitrator and mediator for numerous local jurisdictions.


WILLIAMS & WILLIAMS CELEBRATES 50+ YEARS WITH NORTHSHORE FIRE DEPARTMENT

Williams & Williams PSC is pleased to celebrate more than 50 years as general counsel to the Northshore Fire Department. Attorney William L. Williams began representing the department in September 1954, when it was still known as King County Fire Protection District 16. Much has changed over the years.

The long run as secretary/legal counsel began when King County Fire District was an all-volunteer rural group and has extended through t40-plus personnel,” said William L. Williams. It has been an interesting, enjoyable and very educational experience.”

We are all extremely proud to have been associated with the department and its many employees for more than one-half a century.
